Spent the day before the race relaxing and doing some very easy training and having a look at the course...awesome! Although we haven't actually seen T2/the run course/finish as it's 15 miles from the race start where our hotel is. Not so good was having to spend (well getting Olly to spend) $300 on a helmet for us both as our helmets didn't have a CPSC sticker (even though they are CPCS certified - a compulsory USA safety standard)...what a ridiculous waste of money! Looking forward to the race tomorrow, it's going to be a massive learning curve but should be good fun...providing Jaws isn't having a swim at Venice beach as well.
